Instructions
Step 1
Cook bacon until fairly crisp. Remove from pan to cool and drain oil. Sauté onion in remaining oil in pan. Chop bacon once cooled.
Step 2
Combine eggs, milk and spices in a bowl and whisk.
Step 3
In a separate bowl combine flour with cheeses, then stir into milk mixture.
Step 4
Add bacon and onions to mixture.
Step 5
Pour into deep dish pie shell and bake at 350 degrees until firm and tester comes out clean, 75 to 90 minutes.
(Place sheet pan under quiche to catch any overflow).
