Instructions
Step 1
place 2 cups of berries in a skillet over a low fire.
Step 2
using a fork, mash the berries.
Step 3
add in lemon juice and honey/maple syrup. mix.
Step 4
turn off stove. add chia seeds to the skillet with the berries and mix well. let sit for 15-20 minutes.
Step 5
when a jam consistency is achieved and the jam has cooled down, store it in a jar.
Step 6
serve with pancakes, overnight oats, toast, etc.
