Pork Rice

Instructions

Step 1
In a wide pan over medium high heat, brown thr ground pork. Drain any grease, if necessary.
Step 2
Stir the garlic into the pork and sauté until fragrant, about a minute. Mix in the frozen vegetables and add the salt and pepper. (Remember you're about to add sauce to this, so be conservative.)
Step 3
In a separate bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and ginger.
Step 4
Pour the sauce mixture over the pork and vegetables and stir to coat everything. Add the rice and mix until all the rice is coated in sauce.
Step 5
Add the beef stock, bring to a boil, the reduce the heat to a simmer and cover. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes until the rice is cooked through, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
Once the rice is done, remove from heat and let it stand, covered, for a few minutes to steam.
Step 7
Serve with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. I drizzle mine with a bit of yum-yum sauce.
