Instructions

Step 1
Brown ground beef, onions, and peppers in a skillet.
Step 2
Once meat is browned and onions are translucent, add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until garlic is fragrant.
Step 3
Drain all and place cooked mixture in stock pot, slow cooker, or instant pot.
Step 4
If cooking in an instant pot, add broth to scrap bits off bottom. Add all other ingredients to the mixture, except cheese and sour cream.
Step 5
If using instant pot, set pressure to high and cook for 30 minutes with a natural release. If using a crockpot, cook on low for 4 to 6 hours or on high for 2 to 4 hours. If on the stove, cook on medium until hot and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 6
When the chili is done, serve with sour cream and cheddar. Add crackers or any other toppings and serve.
