Instructions
Step 1
In a mortar, thoroughly mash 1 Tbsp of the onion with the chili, ½ tsp of the cilantro, and ½ tsp salt to make a paste.




Step 2
Cut the tomatoe in half, squeeze out the juice and seeds, and discard.

Step 3
Chop the pulp and add it to the bowl.
Step 4
Remove the flesh of the avocado, add to a separate bowl, and mash into a paste.


Step 5
Add the avocado paste to the first bowl.
Step 6
Add the remaining onion and cilantro and gently fold all the ingredients together.


Step 7
Season with more chili and salt, if desired .


Step 8
Serve at once with tortilla chips.
