Instructions
Step 1
Mix unsalted butter, light brown sugar, and caster sugar together.
Step 2
Add egg and mix well.
Step 3
Sift in self-rising flour, plain flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
Step 4
Fold in chocolate chips.
Step 5
Divide dough into cookies, approximately 150g each.
Step 6
Chill dough for 5 hours in the fridge or 30 minutes in the freezer.
Step 7
Bake at 180°C in a fan-forced oven for 10-15 minutes.
