Ingredients
4 servings
1 ½ cupsgreek yogurt
1 tspgaram masala
1 tspginger garlic paste
½ tspKashmiri red chili powder
salt
lemon juice
600gboneless chicken breast
cut into pieces
1 ½ cupsonions
sliced
15gginger
15gGarlic
5 cupschopped tomatoes
cashews
cumin powder
coriander powder
garam masala
sugar
cardamom powder
butter
water
hot
kasuri methi
cream
ghee
Instructions
Step 1
Mix Greek yogurt, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, Kashmiri red chili powder, salt, and lemon juice.
Step 2
Add chicken and marinate for at least 60 minutes or overnight.
Step 3
Sauté onions, ginger, and garlic.
Step 4
Add tomatoes, cashews, cumin, coriander, garam masala, sugar, and cardamom.
Step 5
Blend into a smooth puree.
Step 6
Grill the marinated chicken until browned.
Step 7
Heat butter in a pan, add the puree, and cook until thick.
Step 8
Add grilled chicken, hot water, garam masala, kasuri methi, and cream.
Step 9
Simmer until the chicken is coated in the sauce.
Step 10
Finish with ghee and serve with naan or rice.
