1 lbpasta
uncooked, penne, rotini, or rigatoni work best

1 x 24 ozpasta sauce
marinara or your favorite

3 cupschicken broth
or vegetable broth

1 x 14 ozcan diced tomatoes
undrained

1 lbground beef
browned, optional

1onion
small, diced

3garlic cloves
minced

1 tspitalian seasoning

½ tspred pepper flakes
optional

1 cupheavy cream
or half & half

2 cupsshredded mozzarella cheese

½ cupgrated parmesan cheese

fresh basil
or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1
In your crockpot, combine pasta sauce, broth, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, seasonings, and cooked meat (if using). Stir well.
Step 2
Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours (check around the 3-hour mark—pasta should be al dente).
Step 3
Stir in the heavy cream and half of the mozzarella + Parmesan. Mix well.
Step 4
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top, cover, and cook an additional 15 minutes until melted.
Step 5
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
