Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
12 servings

2chicken breasts

2 tspgarlic powder

2 tsponion powder

1 tsppaprika

1 tspbasil

1 tspthyme

1 ½ tspsalt

1 ½ tsppepper

3 Tbspcanola oil

3 Tbspunsalted butter

1onion
finely chopped

2 cupscarrot
chopped

2 Tbspgarlic cloves
minced

1can cream of chicken

1can cream of mushroom

32 ozchicken broth

2 cupspotato
diced

8 ozegg noodles
Instructions
Step 1

In a small dish, mix all of the seasonings together.
Step 2
Butterfly the chicken breasts and season with half of the seasoning mixture.
Step 3
Add the oil to a large pot and heat on medium/high. Once hot, add the chicken and sear on each side until golden brown. Add the lid and simmer until chicken is cooked.
Step 4
Remove the chicken from the pot, and add the butter. Once melted, add the onion, carrots, and garlic. Cook and stir until onions are translucent.
Step 5
Pour in the soups, broth, and diced potato. Bring to a simmer.
Step 6
Add the rest of the seasoning mixture and the egg noodles. Cook on medium/low until the noodles are fully cooked, stirring frequently.
Step 7
Shred the chicken and add it to the soup. Stir gently and keep warm until ready to serve.
