Instructions

Step 1
Prep the Croissants Lightly grease a baking dish with butter. Cut the croissants into large chunks (2–3 inches) and place them evenly in the dish.

Make Cream Mixture: Whisk together heavy cream, milk, eggs, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
Step 3
Pour and Soak Slowly pour the cream mixture over the croissant pieces, making sure to coat them well. Gently press the croissants down so they soak up the mixture. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes or cover and refrigerate overnight for deeper flavour.
Step 4
Bake Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake uncovered for about 35–45 minutes until the top is golden brown and the custard is set (not jiggly in the centre).
Step 5
Let cool for 5–10 minutes.
