Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, and 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
Step 2
In a 13x9x2 baking dish, spread 1&1/2 cups Meat Sauce. Layer 1/3 of the lasagne noodles, 2 cups sauce, 1/2 of the ricotta mixture, and 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese.
Step 3
Repeat the layers. Top with remaining noodles, sauce, and cheeses.
Step 4
Bake in a 350°F oven for 50 minutes or until bubbly. Let stand for 15 minutes. Makes 12 servings.
Step 5
For Meat Sauce: In a 5-quart dutch oven, heat 1 tablespoon Mazola corn oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, garlic, and parsley. Cook for 10 minutes or until beef is browned.
Step 6
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, basil, salt, oregano, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes.
