Step 1
Finely slice the red cabbage, red onion, and garlic. Grate the apple.

Heat olive oil in a large pan, add the red onion and garlic, and cook for a few minutes.

Add the apple, salt, cinnamon, and thyme. Cook for 1 minute, then add the red cabbage.

Pour in the apple juice and balsamic vinegar. Add the honey, cover with baking paper or use a lid, and simmer gently for 40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
