Step 1

Gather ingredients, preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2

Mix mandarin oranges with juice, eggs, and oil. Pour batter into three greased and floured 8 inch round pans (layers will be thin)
Step 3

Bake in preheated oven until toothpick comes clean. 25 to 30 minutes, cool layers on cooling rack
Step 4

Make the frosting: mix together whipped topping, crushed pineapples, and instant pudding mix.
Step 5

Spread frosting onto cooled cake layers. Stack layers, frost top and sides and refrigerate.
