Instructions
Step 1
Cut French bread into small cubes and set aside.
Step 2
Cook sausage in a pan until browned, then remove and set aside.
Step 3
In the same pan, melt butter and sauté onions, celery, salt, and pepper until softened.
Step 4
Add rosemary, thyme, sage, parsley, and garlic; cook for another minute.
Step 5
In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sausage, and sautéed mixture.
Step 6
Beat eggs with chicken broth and pour over bread mixture, stirring well to combine.
Step 7
Transfer mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil.
Step 8
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15 minutes until top is golden.
