Instructions
Step 1
Make dough as per bread machine instructions
Step 2
When dough cycle is complete, divide the dough into 16 balls
Step 3
Flatten balls into 3/8 inch thickness
Step 4
Place dough rounds on greased cooking sheet or use parchment, almost touching (as they proof for a second time, they will expand and touch, giving them soft sides)
Step 5
Cover with a tea towel and allow to proof for 2 hours in warm location with no breezes
Step 6
After they have finished proofing, dust lightly with flour before baking at 400° F for approximately 15 minutes
Step 7
If they're not dark enough, move them under the broiler for a couple of minutes. Watch them, though.
