Ingredients

Instructions
Step 1
- soak basmati rice (4 cup for 2 people)
- boil basmati rice along with bay leaf , crushed clove and star anise , cinnamon ( 1 each ) , 4 spoons of salt for 4 glasses of water
- boil only 75%
Step 2
- marinate chicken with the ingredients - fry onions until brown and then grind after cooling and add paste - can add 4 chillies as well
- dont forget cardamom powder(1/2 spoin atleast), and grate nutmeg

Step 3
- take a wide pan or bhagwan
- first add rice
- then add chicken on top
- keep layering
- sprinkle on top the oil used to fry onion and saffron mixed in milk if available
- cook on high for 10 mins and then low for 25-30 mins
