Instructions
Step 1
Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth and fluffy.
Step 2
Add the beaten egg and vanilla extract; mix well.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, mix the flour and baking powder.
Step 4
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until a dough forms. Chill the dough until firm.
Step 5
Pre-heat oven to 200°C. Roll out the dough to about 6 mm thick and cut into desired shapes. Bake for 6–8 minutes, until just set.
