Instructions

Step 1
Whisk all of the ingredients in a bowl except the ground pork.
Step 2
Gently mix in the whisked ingredients into the pork until fully and evenly incorporated.
Step 3
Lay down parchment paper enough to roll out one sheet of pastry and lightly flour.
Step 4
Unroll a sheet of puff pastry, gently roll it lengthwise to even it out, and cut into 1/2 to create two 5”x6” sheets.
Step 5
Divide the sausage mixture into 2, and roll 2 logs that can fit the longer length of each cut pastry sheet.
Step 6
Lay down a sausage log at the end of each pastry sheet, leaving about 1/2” space, making sure the sausage fits end-to-end lengthwise.
Step 7
Brush each end of the pastry with the egg wash and start rolling from the sausage end, tucking in sausage to ensure a tight roll, to sure there's no space between the pastry and the meat.
Step 8
At the seal, gently pinch the pastry together to seal tightly.
Step 9
Cut light slits into the top of the sausage rolls, and wrap each one in parchment paper.
Step 10
Lightly brush the egg wash over each sausage roll.
Step 11
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake the rolls for 25 mins.
Step 12
Serve alone as a snack, or alongside mash potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, sauteed mushrooms, or other sides for a complete meal.
