Instructions
Step 1
Steam-sauté veggies: In a large skillet, heat 1 tsp oil over medium. Add frozen broccoli and pepper strips with a splash of water. Cover and steam-sauté for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until just tender.
2. Sauté garlic: Push veggies to the side. Add remaining oil and garlic to the center. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
3. Season: Stir everything together. Add soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, and pepper flakes. Toss to coat evenly.
4. Finish: Taste and adjust salt or acid. Garnish with herbs or seeds if using.
5. Serve: Warm or room temp—great as a side or veggie bowl base.
