Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
Step 2
Add yeast to a small bowl with 1/2 cup of warm water, add a pinch of sugar and let it sit until it starts to foam, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, and salt.
Step 4
In another bowl, mix milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined. Gradually add to the dry ingredients and mix gently.
Step 5
Place dough in a bowl coated with cooking spray and cover. Place in a warm area and let rise for about an hour or it has doubled in size.
Step 6
Split dough in half and shape into 3x6 rectangle. cover & let the dough rise for 30 mins
Step 7
For the filling, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Step 8
Bake for 40–45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling before removing from pan.
Step 9
For icing, whisk powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth, then drizzle over cooled bread.
Step 10
In the greased loaf pan, layer half of the batter, sprinkle with half of the cinnamon filling, add the remaining batter followed by the rest of the filling. Swirl with a knife.
