Instructions
Step 1
Beat the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar for 2.5 minutes until creamy.
Step 2
Add the egg, beat for 1.5 minutes.
Step 3
Pour in the flour, and mix on low spead until just combined.
Step 4
Add in the chocolate chips, and stir slowly until mixed through.
Step 5
Scoop out balls onto lined baking trays.
Step 6
Split each ball by hand - 2/3 for each "base", and 1/3 for each as its "lid".
Step 7
Take each 2/3 base, and using handle of wooden spoon, press into centre to create a well. Pour in peanut butter, and close with it's lid.
Step 8
Once all are filled, place the trays into fridge for half an hour to firm up.
Step 9
Preheat oven for 10 minutes at 160° Celsius fan-forced.
Step 10
Cook for 14 minutes. Allow to cool on tray for 5 minutes, prior to moving onto cooling rack.
