Step 1
Place Chicken breasts in crockpot
Step 2
Add in ranch dressing powdered mix, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 4C chicken broth, 1C water, and cooked/chopped up bacon to pot
Step 3
Cover and cook on low 5-7 hours
Step 4
Then take out cooked chicken and shred it up then put back in crockpot into liquid mixture.
Step 5
Divide up cream cheese into 6-8 pieces and drop into liquid mixture and chicken in crockpot.
Step 6
Cover for a few moments to let the cream cheese melt.
Step 7
Then chop up baby kale into smaller but still substantial pieces and add all of it to the liquid mixture in the crockpot
Step 8
Add in 1 and 1/2C cheese of your choice. I use colby-jack or cheddar-jack because all cheddar can make the soup a bit greasy.
Step 9
Cover the crockpot and heat for 1 hour on low
Step 10
Serve over rice or in a bread bowl or by itself
