Instructions

Step 1
Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Step 2
Heat oil and butter in skillet; sear chops 3–4 minutes per side. Remove.
Step 3
Cook onion in same skillet 5–6 minutes; add garlic.
Step 4
Add broth (and Dijon if using), simmer 2–3 minutes.
Step 5
Stir in sour cream if using.
Step 6
Return pork chops, cover, and simmer 8–12 minutes until done.
