Ingredients
4 servings
499gboneless chicken thigh
or breast, cut into small cubes
2 tspginger-garlic paste
½ tspsalt
½ tsppepper
1 tspkashmiri chili powder
½ tspturmeric powder
1 tsplemon juice
oil
Light brush, or spray of, for frying
1onion
small, thinly sliced
1green chilies
chopped
3 Tbspfresh coriander leaves
chopped
1 cupcurd
thick, or Greek yogurt
1 tspgarlic paste
½ tspsugar
1 ½ tspmustard oil
1 tspkasuri methi
crushed
Instructions
Step 1
Mix chicken with ginger-garlic paste, salt, pepper, chili powder, turmeric, and lemon juice. Marinate for an hour.
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken pieces until cooked through.
Step 3
Add sliced onions, green chilies, and coriander. Saute for a few more minutes.
Step 4
Mix curd or Greek yogurt with garlic paste, sugar, and mustard oil. Add to the chicken.
Step 5
Sprinkle crushed kasuri methi and serve hot with rotis or steaming hot rice.
