Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Wrap the tofu in a clean kitchen towel and lightly press for about 2 minutes to remove excess liquid.

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, chili powder, garlic, cornstarch, tomato purée, and nutritional yeast.

Crumble the pressed tofu into the bowl with the other ingredients and mix thoroughly to create a crumbly texture.

Spread the mixture in an even layer on the baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over the tofu.
Step 6
Bake for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through, until crispy.
