Gosh-e fil (Persian: گُوش فيل, lit. '"elephant's ear") is a fried pastry from Afghanistan/ ran. The dough is shaped like an elephant ear (goosh), and deep-fried in oil. Each piece is then topped with chopped pistachios and powdered sugar.

Step 1
Crack 3 eggs and beat.
Step 2
Add oil, milk, cardamom and whisk.
Step 3
Gradually add flour and baking powder.
Step 4
Make sure all ingredients are added and create a large ball. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Step 5

Roll out dough (thinly) with rolling pin and make bow like shapes. Oil should be on low. Fry dough prices until very very lightly fried. Remove from oil and cover with icing sugar and pistachio.
