Instructions

Step 1
Great 20cm square cake pan... sponge roll tin. Line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 2cm above edges of pan.
Step 2
Place butter, sugar and eggs in a large bowl. Stir to combine. Add sifted flour, baking powder, and cocoa to the butter mixture. Stir until almost combined. Add milk and chocolate bits. Stir to combine. Pour mixture into prepared pan. Sprinkle evenly with puffed rice.
Step 3
Cook in moderate oven. Cool completely in pan.
Step 4
To serve lift slice out of pan. Remove baking paper. Cut into even squares.
