Step 1
Mix the ground meat with the egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl, then shape it into 12 meatballs.

In a pot, fry the bacon (cut into 1-cm cubes) until crispy, then remove it from the fat and set aside until ready to serve.

In the fat, sear the meatballs on all sides over high heat, then transfer them to a plate.

In the remaining fat, sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic over medium heat for about 6–8 minutes.

Add the bell peppers and tomatoes cut into 0.5 cm cubes, the tomato puree, the paprika, and the marjoram; season with salt and pepper, pour in the water, and add the dumplings; then cook covered over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
Step 6
Meanwhile, mix the sour cream with the flour until smooth, add about 200 ml of the hot liquid, stir, and pour it into the base, thickening the ragout while stirring constantly. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from the heat.
