Instructions
For the Beef Bites
Step 1
Prepare the Beef: Let the beef sit at room temperature for 20 minutes. Pat dry and cut into 1-inch cubes. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Sear the Beef: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Work in batches to avoid overcrowding. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir and cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant. Toss the beef bites to coat evenly. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Boil the Potatoes: Place peeled and chopped potatoes in a large pot. Cover with cold, salted water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until fork-tender. Mash the Potatoes: Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk or cream, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder if using. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust milk or butter for desired consistency. Assemble & Serve: Plate the mashed potatoes, top with garlic butter beef bites, and drizzle any remaining sauce over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley.
