Instructions
Step 1
Dice the onion into small pieces. The smaller the better.
Step 2
Heat the oven to 220 degrees celsius.
Step 3
Form 4 200g patties from the minced beef. Season with salt and pepper from both sides. Place the patties onto a baking tray covered with parchment paper.
Step 4
Place the patties into the oven for 8 minutes. After 8 minutes, flip the burgers, season again and let them cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 5
In the meanwhile, mix the sauce by combining the ketchup, mayonnaise and dijon mustad.
Step 6
Once, the patties are done, turn off the oven, but leave the patties in the oven. Put 2 slices of cheese on each patty and let the warmth of the oven melt the cheese slightly.
Step 7
Take the buns and also put them in the oven to warm/toast them up to a crunchiness of your liking.
Step 8
Once the cheese is melted and buns warm, combine the burger. Take the bottom bun and add the sauce, cover that with a layer of onions and top that with the cheesy patty. Finally take the top bun, add a layer of sauce on the inside and put it in top of the patty.
