These irresistible sandwiches features sliced prosciutto, which finds savory-sweet complement from layer of melty fontina and creamy fig mayo. After cooking the sandwiches, we're rubbing the toasted sourdough with a whole clove of garlic, for an aromatic touch.

Instructions
Step 1
Combine mayonnaise, fig spread and Dijon mustard
Step 2
Assemble sandwiches using the bread, fig mustard mayo, cheese and prosciutto.
Step 3
In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil on medium until hot.
Step 4
Add the sandwiches and loosely cover the pan with foil and cook 3 - 4 minutes per side or until lightly browned and the cheese is melted.
Step 5
Transfer to a cutting board and carefully rub the outer sides of the tasted bread with the whole garlic clove; discard the clove. Halve the sandwiches on an angle.
