Instructions

Step 1
Heat oven to 180°C.
Step 2
Mix egg, egg white, sugar, and butter.
Step 3
Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon.
Step 4
Fold in apple.
Step 5
Add a little milk if needed — batter should be thick but scoopable.
Step 6
Bake about 18–22 mins until golden.
Step 7
Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
Step 8
Makes 4 - 6 depending on size of tin.
