Ingredients
6 servings
2 Ibsbeef sirloin
or round steak, sliced into strips
3bell peppers
chopped
1onion
large, sliced
3cloves garlic
minced
½ cupbeef broth
½ cupsoy sauce
⅓ cupbrown sugar
1 tablespoonworcestershire sauce
1 teaspoonginger
½ teaspoonblack pepper
2 tablespoonscornstarch
2 tablespoonswater
2 tablespoonsgreen onions
chopped, or parsley
Instructions
Step 1
Add sliced beef, bell peppers, onion, and garlic to a 6-quart crockpot.
Step 2
In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, and black pepper.
Step 3
Pour sauce over the beef and vegetables.
Step 4
Stir to coat.
Step 5
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or
Step 6
HIGH for 3-4 hours, until beef is tender.
Step 7
Mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl.
Step 8
Stir slurry into the crockpot during the last 20-30 minutes of cooking.
Step 9
Stir gently until sauce thickens.
