Ingredients
6 servings
Sauce
1 Tsoy sauce
1 Twater
1 Tbrown sugar
or honey
1 tspsesame oil
½ tsprice vinegar
½ tspminced garlic
½ tspginger
grated, or ginger powder
Casserole
Instructions
Step 1
Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Set aside
Step 2
Chop onion and place in a large frying pan with a little bit of olive oil. Cook until onions are translucent. Add the meat and cook until no longer pink. Add the garlic powder and onion powder along with the shredded carrots and the sauce and mix well. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes longer and remove from heat.
Step 3
Lightly Grease the casserole dish with olive oil and preheat oven to 350°.
Step 4
Place the coleslaw on the bottom of the casserole dish and spread out evenly. Pour the meat mixture on top and spread out evenly. Bake the casserole for 15 minutes and stir.
Step 5
Serve over rice or plain in the dish and top with toasted sesame seeds and scallions..
