Mix dry ingredients: Whisk the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together in a large bowl.Add liquids: Stir in the milk, beaten egg, and melted butter until a smooth pancake batter forms.Fold in corn: Gently mix in the plain corn kernels.Fry: Heat your oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat.Cook: Drop \(\frac{1}{4}\)-cup scoops into the hot skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until you see small bubbles form on top, then flip and cook the other side until golden brown.
