Homemade Healthier Honey Mustard Dressing

1 step
Prep:5min
Nothing turns a healthy salad into junk food quicker than a bottle of salad dressing. Most commercial honey mustard dressings have high fructose corn syrup, soybean oil and other seed oils, synthetic food dyes, artificial preservatives, and a paragraph of ingredients you can barely pronounce. In comparison, this homemade healthier honey mustard dressing uses heart healthy extra virgin olive oil as it's base, and only contains honey as it's sweetener, no corn syrup or refined sugar. With a few simple ingredients and just 5 minutes of your time, you can easily whip up a homemade salad dressing without the need for mayo or eggs. For a low calorie honey mustard recipe, check out my No-Honey Mustard Dressing. That recipe uses a base of cottage cheese instead of oil for more protein and less fat and calories, while being sweetened with granulated monk fruit instead of honey for no added sugar and less net carbs.
