Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2
Mix together all dough ingredients until a dough forms. Roll out half of the dough to fit into a cookie sheet going up the sides. Save the other half for the top.
Step 3
Cut up the apples into 1” pieces and spread in a single layer in the pan. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar. Dot with butter.
Step 4
Roll out the other half of the dough and lay over the apples, sealing the edges. Cut air holes.
Step 5
Bake for 15-20 mins or until golden brown on top.
Step 6
While that is cooling, mix together the frosting, then ice the apple bars while still warm. Cut into squares.
