Instructions
Step 1
Brown the sausage on medium high heat and drain the grease. Add seasoning and garlic.
Add the orzo and toast for 1-2 minutes.
Add dry white wine (or stock) and cook off for 1-2 minutes
Add the tomatoes
Add Italian seasoning, stock and heavy cream.
Once it starts bubbling cut heat to a simmer and cover. Let cook for 10-15 minutes until the orzo is done.
Cut the heat entirely and add the cheese.
Add the spinach, stir, cover and let it wilt.
Plate and top with cheese.
