Instructions
Step 1
Add the chopped coconut and water to a blender jar.
Step 2
Blend on high speed for about 1 minute, or until the mixture looks smooth and creamy.
Step 3
Place a muslin cloth or nut milk bag over a clean bowl and pour the blended mixture into it.
Step 4
Gather the edges of the cloth and squeeze firmly with clean hands until all the milk has been extracted and the coconut pulp feels as dry as possible.
Step 5
Transfer the coconut milk to a clean container. Use immediately, or refrigerate for up to 2 days. Shake well before using if it separates naturally.
