Instructions

Step 1
Open 1 can of sliced carrots but do not drain! In a food processor, use a fork to measure out and add 1 cup canned carrots. Add 2 Tbsp canned carrot water. It's a partial can of sliced carrots.
Step 2
Put the blended carrots into a medium saucepan that has a lid. Add the remaining ingredients: dash garlic powder, dash onion powder, drizzle maple syrup, small splash of apple cider vinegar, dash salt, and stir with fork. This makes ketchup, now we turn it into bbq sauce. Next add 1/4 cup coconut sugar, 1 1/2 tsp chili powder blend, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1 pinch cayenne, 1/8 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp ground pepper, 1 1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 Tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 Tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tsp dijon mustard, and stir. Put in a medium saucepan, bring to boil, cover with lid, turn heat to low and simmer 10 min. Bbq sauce is done and ready to use!
