Ingredients
6 servings
14 ozsmoked sausage
kielbasa style, sliced into thick rounds
1.5 lbsbaby Yukon Gold potatoes
halved
3 cupsbroccoli florets
large
4 Tbspunsalted butter
melted
3 Tbspolive oil
5cloves garlic
minced
1 tspgarlic powder
1 tspsmoked paprika
1 tspitalian seasoning
1 tsponion powder
1 tspsalt
½ tspblack pepper
½ tspdried thyme
½ cupparmesan cheese
freshly grated
2 Tbspfresh parsley
chopped, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved baby potatoes, broccoli florets, and sliced sausage rounds. Toss gently so they are mixed together.
Step 3
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme until fully combined into a smooth garlic butter seasoning mixture.
Step 4
Pour the entire garlic butter mixture over the sausage and vegetables. Toss everything together thoroughly with your hands or two large spoons until every single piece is evenly and generously coated.
Step 5
Spread the mixture in a single even layer across the prepared baking sheet. Place the potatoes cut-side down so the flat surface gets crispy and caramelized against the hot pan. Make sure nothing is piled on top of each other or the food will steam instead of roast.
Step 6
Place the baking sheet on the center rack of the oven. Roast for 25 minutes. Remove the pan, toss everything gently to redistribute and ensure even browning, then return to the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes until the potatoes are fork-tender with golden crispy edges, the broccoli is tender with slight charring and crispy tips, and the sausage rounds are caramelized and slightly charred on the edges.
Step 7
Remove from the oven. While everything is still very hot, sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese generously over the entire sheet pan so the cheese melts slightly onto the hot food.
Step 8
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve directly from the baking sheet for a rustic family-style meal, or transfer to a serving platter.
