Ingredients
3 servings
3cans crushed tomatoes
plain, check that the ingredients are only tomatoes, with no onion or garlic
3 Tbspgarlic-infused extra-virgin olive oil
3 tspItalian seasoning
onion/garlic-free
1 ½ tsporegano
1 ½ tspbasil
¾ tspturmeric
¾ tspblack pepper
¾ tspsalt
or to taste
3 tspmonk fruit sweetener
optional, if you want it less acidic
3 Tbspwater
if needed

Instructions
Step 1
Put the garlic-infused olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-low heat.
Step 2
Add the crushed tomatoes.
Step 3
Add the Italian seasoning, oregano, basil, turmeric, black pepper, and salt.
Step 4
Simmer gently for 20–25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Taste. If it's too acidic, add a little monk fruit sweetener.
Step 6
If you want it very smooth, blend it with an immersion blender.
Step 7
Let the sauce cool before dividing into portions for storage.
