Step 1
Combine the butter and sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy, then add the salt and beaten eggs gradually. Mix well, while gradually adding the milk.

Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture, along with the vanilla extract.

Pour the batter into a cake pan.
Step 4
Place a wire rack on the 2nd level of the oven, and then tap "Send to oven" to preheat it.
Step 5
Once you hear a beep, place the food in the oven and bake it. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool.
