Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan 160°C/gas mark 4).
Step 2
Place the turkey breast steaks on a baking tray, spray with low-calorie cooking spray and sprinkle over 1 teaspoon of the Chinese 5-spice onto both sides of the steaks.
Step 3
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes, until cooked through and crisp, turning halfway through cooking.
Step 4
Meanwhile, place the rest of the Chinese 5-spice, dark soy sauce, granulated sweetener and balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan, reserving 2 teaspoons of the balsamic vinegar for the end.
Step 5
Place over a medium heat, stirring regularly, and reduce by half, taking care not to burn the sauce.
Step 6
This will take around 4-5 minutes.
Step 7
Once reduced, stir in the remaining balsamic vinegar.
Step 8
Keep warm until ready to serve.
Step 9
If it becomes cool and starts to over-thicken, reheat with a couple of tablespoons of water to loosen.
Step 10
Slice the cooked turkey into strips or shred with forks.
Step 11
Cut the low-calorie tortilla wraps into quarters.
Step 12
Onto each quarter place some crispy turkey, some cucumber and spring onions.
Step 13
Drizzle over a little of the sauce - it is very strong in flavour so a little goes a long way!
