Step 1
Wash the rice once and drain it then, Soak it in 1 cup whole milk for 30 minutes
Step 2
Pour 5 cups whole milk in the pot and warm it on medium heat while stirring
Step 3
Once the milk is warm, add the rice and the milk it was soaking in
Step 4
Cook on medium heat for 40 minutes stirring every 5 minutes
Step 5
Add the cornstarch and milk mixture slowly
Step 6
Add the sugar
Step 7
Keep stirring until the milk thickens
Step 8
Once the milk thickens, add the rose water and vanilla
Step 9
Stir for the last time and pour in cups or bowls
Step 10
Top with your favorite toppings ( pistachios, cinnamon, dry roses)
