2chicken breasts
0.25white vinegar
olive oil
2cloves of garlic
½ teaspoongarlic powder
½ teaspoononion powder
½ teaspoonpaprika
½ teaspooncumin
½ teaspooncoriander
¼ teaspoonchili flakes
¼ teaspoonturmeric
¼ teaspooncinnamon
¼ teaspoonblack pepper
1 teaspoonsalt
Hummus Ingredients
2 x 15.5 ozchick peas
cans, drain and rinse
2garlic cloves
½ cupfresh lemon juice
¼ cuptahini
¼ cupextra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoonsalt
3ice cubes
Pita chips
Garnish
Instructions
Step 1
1. Shawarma— Chop the chicken breasts into bite size pieces. In a bowl mix together the vinegar, olive oil, garlic and all the spices. Add in the chicken give it a good mix then cook it in a skillet on high heat until all the liquid is gone and the chicken is cooked through.
Step 2
2. Hummus— Blend everything together until creamy.
Step 3
3. Pita chips— cut the pita bread into triangles then spray it with avocado cooking spray and air fry them at 350° for 10 minutes, give them a shake half way through.
Step 4
4. Once everything is done start assembling spread the hummus first, then add the chicken on top, then the pickled turnips, pickles, parsley, sumac and drizzle some extra-virgin olive oil on top and enjoy!!!
