Pumpkin Witch Cake Pops

Instructions

Step 1
Mix cups in electric mixer and it forms a dough. Fill each cone with the cupcake dough. Even off the top of cone so no dough is sticking up out of cone. Form the remaining dough into 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls. I use a cookie scoop. Set aside. Melt 1 1/2 cups of the purple chocolate with 1 Tbl of shortening and stir until smooth. Dip the pointy end of the cone into the chocolate and place on parchment paper so pointy part of cone is in the upright position. Don’t worry about getting the bottom/wider part of the cone covered. You will finish that in another step. Next melt the orange colored chocolate with 1 Tbls of shortening and stir until smooth. Dip a ball into the orange chocolate with a fork until covered and place on parchment paper. Continue until all balls are dipped and place on parchment paper and let harden. Once the orange balls are hardened melt the remaining half cup of purple chocolate with 1/2 Tbl of shortening and stir until smooth. Hold the cone by the point and dip the wide part into the chocolate to seal in the cake and cover up any part of the cone that is exposed and not covered with chocolate. Gently shake off excess chocolate and place the cone on top of an orange ball. The chocolate will harden the ball and cone together. Next melt the black chocolate and place in a piping or small ziplock bag. Cut a tiny hole at corner of bag or bottom of piping bag. Now draw on the eyes and mouth of the pumpkin. Then pipe a rim around the hat and place an M&M in the middle of that piping. Let harden. Store in cool dry place until ready to serve.
