Fried tomato mozzarella sandwich

Instructions

Step 1
To a bowl add the egg and milk. Whisk until well combined.
Step 2
To another bowl add the panko.
Step 3
Soak the mozzarella in the egg mixture and then in the panko.
Step 4
Heat the oil in a small pot or pan. Leave the heat on high. Then add the mozzarella. Deep fry for 2min each side.
Step 5
Cut the bread in half. Spread both sides with the olive oil. Toast until golden brown.
Step 6
Slice the tomato and chop the basil.
Step 7
Place the fried mozzarella on the bottom half of the bread and slice.
Step 8
Then add the tomato slices and season with salt, pepper and basil. Finish with the balsamic cream.
Step 9
Place the second half on top and enjoy!
