Step 1
Rinse and dry asparagus
Step 2
Trim off 1/3 of bottoms of asparagus
Step 3
Heat pan under medium high heat
Step 4
Cook dry asparagus in pan for 4-5 minutes (until it turns bright green)
Step 5
Season asparagus with salt and pepper
Step 6
Pour olive oil over asparagus and allow to cook for 3-4 more minutes
Step 7
Shred parmesan cheese directly over asparagus in pan
Step 8
Grate lemon peel directly over asparagus in pan
Step 9
Serve and enjoy!
