⅓ cupshortening

2 cupsflours

1 cupsugar

1 tspbaking powder

½ tspvanilla extract

1egg

½ tspcinnamon

½ tspsalt

Instructions
Step 1
Cream together shortening, margarine and sugar until smooth. And egg and vanilla. Blend baking powder, cinnamon and flour and add slowly to mixture. Chill dough 3 hours.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 375 and grease cookie sheet. Sprinkle flour on counter and rolling pin and roll out and cut designs. Bake for 7 minutes. Let cool and decorate.
Frosting
Step 3
Mix together ingredients, adding food coloring if desired.
